The ER40 erbium glass laser operates at 1535 nm, providing Class 1 eye-safe performance. It delivers pulse energy of ≥40 μJ with a 4 ns pulse width at a 1 kHz repetition rate. With excellent pulse stability (10%), a 0.2 mm beam diameter, and a divergence angle of less than 15 mrad in TEM₀₀ mode, the ER40 ensures high-quality beam output. It is engineered to withstand harsh conditions, operating between -45°C and +65°C, and resisting impacts up to 1500 G and vibrations from 20–2000 Hz/20 G. Compact (17×8×7 mm) and lightweight (6 g), with a lifespan exceeding 5 million pulses, it operates at 2 V and 5 A. It is ideal for military rangefinder, LIDAR, laser communication, and eye-safe medical and industrial systems.

The ER40 1.54 μm DPSS Laser module is a compact and reliable eye-safe laser developed by ERDI TECH LTD, using Er:glass passive Q-switching technology. Built with a semiconductor packaging process, it offers excellent beam quality and stable single-pulse energy—perfect for high-performance applications.

This 1535nm erbium glass laser delivers consistent output across multiple frequency settings, with customizable options such as 70 μJ@500Hz, 40 μJ@1KHz, 20 μJ@2.5KHz, 10 μJ@5KHz, and 5 μJ@10KHz.
